Moscow, Russia | bazzup| Russian President Vladimir Putin branded the earlier event in Russia’s southern Bryansk area a “terrorist attack,” saying that the criminals had targeted people.

During a video message to participants in a pilot educational program, Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the event in the Bryansk region.

“Russian army soldiers and officers… are courageously, heroically doing their duty, safeguarding Russia from neo-Nazis and terrorists,” Putin added.

“Those who did another terrorist act today, another crime, they infiltrated the border area and opened fire on civilians,” Putin said, adding that the offenders were aware that they were shelling a civilian car with civilians and children inside.

Putin stated that neo-Nazis who perform such violent acts will fail and would be crushed, according to the Kremlin.

Alexander Bogomaz, governor of the Bryansk district, claimed earlier on Thursday that a sabotage and reconnaissance party had entered Russia from Ukraine in the morning. Two communities were assaulted by saboteurs, who killed two individuals and injured a toddler.

According to preliminary information, the saboteurs may have taken up to six persons hostage, according to TASS, citing a law enforcement source.

According to RIA, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) and the country’s military forces are actively taking steps to eliminate armed Ukrainian nationals who have crossed the state border.
