Zaake is in Turkey for parliamentary duties, not Lumbuye, says govt

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said Mityana Municipality MP additionally dispatched of Parliament, Francis Zaake ventured out to Turkey as a component of his parliamentary obligations and not to stop the removal of blogger and Ugandan government pundit, Fred Kajubi Lumbuye.

Zaake prior this week posted photographs of himself at Entebbe Airport and said he was traveling to Turkey to help in the arrival of Lumbuye.

Nonetheless, in an explanation delivered on Saturday through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ugandan Embassy in Ankara said Zaake as a commission of parliament is important for a group of Ugandan administrators who are in Turkey on a benchmarking trip.

“The Embassy might want to explain that Hon. Francis Zaake ventured out to Turkey as a feature of a Delegation of Parliamentary Commissioners and different individuals from Parliament on Official Government business to attempt a benchmarking visit in line with Parliament of the Republic of Uganda. The visit is being facilitated by the Ugandan Embassy in Ankara with the important specialists of the Republic of Turkey,” the assertion said.

As per the Ugandan Embassy in Turkey, Zaake showed up along with different MPs on August,5 and is planned to meet with various administrations of Atlas University Hospital, MedicalPark Hospital and Liv Hospital in Istanbul to talk about systems of collaboration between these clinics and Parliament.

“Media reports claiming that the fair Member of Parliament headed out to Turkey for some other purposes other than true Government business are deceiving and ought to be ignored.”

Be that as it may, the assertion didn’t clarify whether uninvolved of the benchmarking excursion, Zaake or some other MP can’t be permitted to participate in some other business, incorporating visiting Ugandans remaining in Turkey.
