World Cup 2022: The final round of ticket sales has begun

On Tuesday, September 27, FIFA will begin the last round of ticket sales for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Demand is much higher than supply with only a few weeks until the start of the first World Cup to be held in an Arab nation. According to a statement from FIFA, this sale is set up on a “first come, first served” basis and “will remain open until the end of the competition.”

Electronic tickets will be sent out to the general public as tickets. FIFA will debut a ticketing app in the middle of October, which users must download to their mobile devices. Tickets can be found on the app and will be activated when you get to the stadium.

Reminder: The opening match of the 2022 World Cup pits the host nation against Ecuador on November 20. There are five countries from Africa represented: Cameroon, Ghana, Tunisia, Morocco, and Senegal.
