Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch were complimented by Jurgen Klopp after Liverpool defeated Toulouse 5-1 to advance to the Europa League knockout stage.

Klopp was also impressed by Endo who, if trusted in bigger games

Gravenberch was the star of the show at Anfield as Liverpool won their third straight game in the competition to create a five-point gap at the top of Group E. The midfielder scored Liverpool’s fourth goal with 25 minutes to go after Darwin Nunez’s comical miss.

Regarding Gravenberch, Klopp stated to TNT Sports, “I’m very glad that he’s starting to love playing football again. His ball acceleration during his first touch is amazing. Not quite half way there, he is. The good news is that he still has a lot of room for improvement.

After a fantastic run, Diogo Jota opened the score nine minutes in. Thijs Dallinga of Toulouse responded five minutes later. Before Nunez scored their third goal just before halftime, Endo scored his first goal for Liverpool with a header on the half-hour mark to put them back ahead. In stoppage time, Mohamed Salah added a fifth goal from the bench.

Endo was another player that impressed Klopp. He might help Liverpool with their midfield issues if trusted in more important games. Klopp said, “He was really strong.” “He had an excellent game; his passes broke the lines. The objective is a good next step for him.

With a victory, Liverpool—who take on Toulouse in France on November 9 in the Europa League—would guarantee their advancement to the next round. The top spot would be certain if second-place Union SG, a Belgian team that is partially owned by Brighton chairman Tony Bloom, also dropped points.
