Vivo Energy Celebrates World Quality Week by Emphasizing Performance and Compliance.

Kampala—From November 11 to 15, Vivo Energy Uganda, Uganda’s distributor of Shell-branded fuels and lubricants, has joined the global commemoration of World Quality Week.
This year’s campaign, with the theme “Compliance to Performance,” highlights the company’s commitment to quality excellence by highlighting standard adherence as the cornerstone of outstanding operational performance.
A live display of the company’s gasoline dumping operations is a major focus of the week’s events. An in-depth look at the painstaking procedures involved in acquiring, testing, and distributing fuel to customers is provided by this interactive exhibition.

Throughout the week, Vivo Energy Uganda also hosts instructional seminars for its partners and employees to encourage quality-conscious behavior and spur ongoing development.
The goal of these workshops is to instill a culture of excellence throughout the organization, making sure that quality permeates every aspect of operations.
Valery Okecho, corporate communications manager, emphasised the role of employee empowerment in upholding quality standards.
“By equipping our staff with the skills to understand and communicate the quality message effectively, we enhance both our service delivery and our brand reputation,” Mr Okecho said.
Vivo Energy Uganda continues to lead the industry in implementing advanced fuel and service standards.
Its efforts contribute significantly to Uganda’s energy sector while ensuring the trust and safety of the communities it serves.
During the Quality Week celebrations at Shell Muyenga, Vivo Energy Uganda took media partners and stakeholders through a practical demonstration of its fuel offloading procedures, which Lawrence Wavamunno, Vivo Energy Uganda laboratory technicians, said is “an important element of our commitment to delivering consistent and exceptional quality”.
Wavamunno demonstrated the rigorous processes and various quality assurance processes fuel goes through at the offloading point at the fuel station to ensure fuel meets the highest quality standards for the customers.
