Calvary FC of the FUFA Big League will visit St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende on Friday 14th April 2023 as Vipers SC continues their quest for a third Cup in a Quarter Final encounter that will be televised on FUFA Tv at 3:00 PM.
Vipers SC eliminated Bujumbura United FC, Jinja North United FC, and Wakiso Giants FC in the 64th, 32nd, and 16th rounds, respectively. Calvary FC defeated Budondo United FC, JLOS FC, and Kitara FC in the 64th, 32nd, and 16th rounds, respectively.
As Livingstone Mulondo returns, Vipers SC will be missing Bright Anukani, Siraje Sentamu, Karim Watambala, Alfred Mudekereza, Murushid Juuko, and Miguel Nzau Lutumba.
“We struggled in previous games, but we’re now on the right track, as the last game demonstrated,” Vipers SC Head Coach Alex Isabirye told the club media.
“We’re trying to get where we want to go, and even though tomorrow’s game won’t be easy, we have to win because we’re at home,” he continued.
“I know it won’t be an easy game because no small team has ever made it to the quarterfinals, so they’ll come wanting to go through, but we’re prepared.”
