Appointee Defense representative, Lt Col Ronald Kakurungu affirmed the passing on of Maj Gen Rwabantu yet didn’t disclose more data as the UPDF would give a conventional assertion “soon”.

In 2018, soon after being elevated to the position of Major General, Rwabantu flaunted that he has been with President Museveni for near 40 years and cautioned that any individual who wishes to mess with the harmony introduced by the NRA should reconsider.
