Rebecca Cheptegei and Annet Chemengich, two rising talents from Uganda, have earned gold and silver medals, respectively.
This occurred in Thailand at the World Mountain Running Championship.
Only Ugandans Leonard Chemutai, Caleb Musobo, and Dennis Kiplangat were able to win the men’s division.
Musobo earned silver, Chemutai won gold, and Kiplangat was awarded a bronze medal.
