Chelsea has reached an agreement with Atletico Madrid to sign Joao Felix, paving the way for the Portugal forward’s return to Stamford Bridge. Felix previously spent a successful six-month loan spell at Chelsea during the 2022/23 season. Additionally, this deal revives the possibility of Conor Gallagher joining Atletico Madrid.

This deal will see connor gallagher head to Atletico de Madrid after a deal had collapsed last with both teams failing to reach an agreement over the swap deal with Samuel Omorodion earlier on. The two teams have now settled in well and reached an agreement which will see felix and Gallagher switch paths.
