Details on what caused her death remained scanty by press time, but a friend Jude Zziwa confirmed her passing and mourned her as a committed born-again Christian who fully served the Lord.
Zziwa noted that Ndagire died at Uganda Cancer Institute, Mulago, where she had been admitted and that she would be laid to rest in Kinoni, Masaka district on Wednesday.
“Oh dear Tracy Ndagire, I’m thankful that God gave us an opportunity to know you right from your early years. All the way from high school, you were full of life, fun to be with, sold out to love and serve the Lord. I remember how you always got so excited to receive us whenever we came to do ministry at your school, you gladly carried loudspeakers at Gayaza High School.
“We connected and you became part of us, we became family, and you brought life to all the fellowships of young people at Scripture Union, Vadiashol, BF2 and all the ministries you got connected to,” Zziwa said in a Facebook post.
He noted that Ndagire lived a short but very effective life.
Carolyn Nakiwala, another friend, noted that “we celebrate your life well spent for the master dear Tracy. Welcome home. We pray that God continues to comfort your entire family and friends.”
Ndagire’s friends organised an online prayer session for her on Tuesday.
