A pig in Rakai locale has destroyed a one and a half-year-old child. The episode happened at Kateera town in Ddwaniro sub-region on Friday. The child’s mom, Peace Tukwasibwe was in the kitchen getting ready breakfast while the minor was dozing on the sleeping cushion in the house.

Abraham Muhangi, another inhabitant says furious occupants jumped on the pig and lynched it. They cut its stomach open and discovered fingers and a few pieces of the child’s body. They later cut the pig into pieces and consumed it to remains.
Tom Yiga Mulindwa, the sub-province LC III executive affirmed the episode ascribing it to the family’s inability to keep the pigs in a pen that presented the child to risk.
