Thomas Partey Spotted With Arsenal Physio in Ghana Ahead of Angola Clash

For Ghana’s AFCON qualifying match against Angola, Thomas Partey has arrived. The physiotherapist for Arsenal was seen with the Black Stars deputy captain. Partey has been in excellent form for the Gunners since his injury return a fortnight ago.

Prior to the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Angola, Thomas Partey traveled to Ghana with Arsenal’s team physio Simon Murphy. Murphy will aid the Arsenal player during practice to make sure he adheres to the necessary regimen to keep himself in shape after just recovering from an injury.

Partey and Murphy can be seen together in a social media video showing Partey joining the team camp in Accra. As preparations for the doubleheader continue, Partey arrived in Ghana on Tuesday and traveled with the Black Stars to Kumasi.

At the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Thursday, Ghana will host Angola before leaving for Luanda for the second leg four days later. If they earn the most points in the two games, the four-time African champions will automatically qualify. With four points after two games, Ghana is presently tied with Angola atop Group E. Partey, meanwhile, is anticipated to be crucial during the qualifiers.

The former Atletico Madrid player has been in excellent form for league-leading Arsenal this year in the English Premier League.
