The FIM Championship is won by Aegerter.

Dominique Aegerter won the FIM Supersport 2021 Championship with a third-place finish in the Motul Argentinean Round at the Circuito San Juan Villicum.

Jules Cluzel won the race, extending his perfect record at the Argentinean circuit to four wins in a row.

Cluzel and Canncü (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing) led the field out of the gate, with South African Steven Odendaal close behind.

Odendaal needed three points to keep his title hopes alive heading into the season finale in Indonesia, but he went horizontal after colliding with Manuel Gonzales at Turn 1.

Cluzel and Oncu sparred at the head of the group, with the Turkish rider putting greater pressure on Cluzel. Cluzel, on the other hand, rapidly pulled away from Oncu as the race progressed.

Oncu, a rising star, finished second for the second time in a row and third time in his WorldSSP career.
