The ADF chapter would soon be closed for good.
Minister Babalanda claims that the ADF chapter would soon be closed for good.
Milly Babalanda, the Minister for Presidency, has stated that the ADF story will be concluded shortly.
“Mzee Ssabalwanyi and your Congo counterpart, your sensible decision to launch a coordinated operation to apprehend ADF militants was aimed at permanently eliminating the tap root of terrorism.
Because of various shortcomings among the Great Lakes leaders, the ADF has survived for so long. The ADF chapter is set to be closed for good now that we’ve partnered up with our Congolese brothers,” Babalanda remarked.
She was speaking at State House in Entebbe during President Museveni’s annual thanksgiving service, which he co-hosted with the First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports, Janet Kataha Museveni.
Last month, the UPDF and Congolese started air and artillery attacks against ADF facilities in the DRC.
Ugandan forces have also deployed to the Democratic Republic of Congo to flush out the ADF rebel organization.
Minister Babalanda stated on Saturday that she is confident the ADF does not work in isolation, but that they would all be unhappy.
“There are followers of their cause who are opposed to the operation aiming at regional stabilization.” People of this type have always existed, even during the time of Jesus Christ.
“However, these sinful reasons will undoubtedly be thwarted and frustrated, and the Lord’s purpose will remain firm forever,” she said.
She stated Uganda’s goals will be blessed by God and will succeed, citing Psalms 33: 10-12 in the Bible.
