Six people have Saturday died in an accident in Bukomansimbi district.
ASP Faridah Nampiima, the PRO Traffic and Road Safety, said the accident happened at around 1pm at Kawoko along Masaka-Bukomasimbi Road.
She said the fatal accident claimed the lives of six people.
The accident involved motor vehicle Reg No UAS 226U (a Fuso Fighter) that overturned killing six people (one female and five male) on the spot.
According to Nampiima, the number of those injured is yet to be established.
“Investigations are underway to establish what caused the accident,” she said.
