News coming through shows that city socialite, Charles Olim alias Sipapa is languishing behind coolers at SIU Kireka police station.
One of his very close friends narrated that Sipapa in the company of his other friends was arrested either Thursday or Friday last week while in Makindye from a certain hotel.
He was then bundled into a waiting car and driven to an unknown destination. When his lawyer, Council Sam and wife Shamira located his whereabouts, they found out that he was at Kiira Road Police station.
The police then took a search at his home and reportedly got nothing. After the family got to know that he was at Kira Police station, he was transferred to Makindye military barracks where he spent the whole Wednesday before being transferred to Kireka SIU. His family members and relatives are still uncertain about the reason why Sipapa was arrested but according to word making rounds, he was arrested for allegedly possessing an illegal fire arm. Apparently, his family members and lawyers are working around the clock to have him released or brought to court and get charged with the offense he committed.
