Museveni is a letter to the bequests’ owner Peter Kamya said that after an audit of the interaction and with discussions from various lawful personalities, observed that the bank sold the property appropriately.

“Following receipt of your protest to me about the illicit offer of your properties by Equity Bank, I coordinated the Attorney General and the Governor, Bank of Uganda to explore and report back,” Museveni said to a limited extent.

“I have since been exhorted that the deal was lawful since you had defaulted on your installment of the advance and didn’t store 30% of the advance sum as was requested by the court. They have additionally prompted that you are at freedom to seek after different cures in court,” he added.

In September, Museveni guided the Attorney General to dispatch a test into the offer of Simbamanyo, he gave a final proposal of 7 days.

“Peter Kamya and Dr. Margaret Muganwa Kamya have engaged me looking for my mediation in the supposed illicit offer of the previously mentioned properties by Equity bank. They express that their properties were sold when there were cases forthcoming in court and without a court request. This is to immediate, that you earnestly explore the matter and render a legitimate assessment inside multi week,” read the President’s order.

In a grumbling to the president, Kamya asserted that Equity Bank has plotted with specific individuals to wrongfully deal off his property.

Kamya additionally claimed that the property was debased on special by a large portion of the value, providing for Property magnet Sudhir Ruparelia at $5m rather than $12m.

In any case, a business court controlling last week requested Simbamanyo Estates and Kamya to pay lawful expenses of Shs1.3b to Equity Bank Uganda and Sudhir Ruparelia.

Kamya was fighting a credit from Equity Bank Limited adding up to $10m. In any case, on neglecting to transmit the cash, the bank moved to deal two of his properties; Simbamanyo and Afrique Suites in Kampala CBD and Mutungo slope separately.
