Shock as contestants are spared eviction on Big Brother Naija

Biggie’s trick on the housemates was a hit, and no one was ousted as a result!

Biggie told HoH, Maria, last week that there would be no evictions on Sunday. She was told, however, to act as if there was, and that she had been granted the right to choose which housemates would be up for eviction.

Maria’s acting talents were on display when she persuaded the housemate that she would be the one to handle the nominations on her own. All of the roommates were nervous, and they immediately went out of their way to avoid being put on Maria’s list.

After everything was said and done, Maria chose Jaypaul, Pere, Yousef, JMK, Emmanuel, and Angel as the six people that had left the most impression on her during the week. Ebuka surprised Maria by asking which two of the selected housemates she would want to see go home during the live program.

She eventually chose Yousef and JMK after much deliberation. That’s when Ebuka finally admitted it was all a joke. Much to the delight of Yousef and JMK, who will be able to stay in the residence for another week.

Ebuka discussed some of the happenings of the previous week on the “no-eviction” Sunday show.

Boma claimed that he would have chosen Angel instead of Jackie B to share the Head of House lounge with if Maria hadn’t urged him to do so. Queen was also mentioned as a viable choice.

Saskay reiterated that she had no relationship expectations of anyone in the home, and that they should not have of her.

In response to Ebuka’s query concerning her apparent relationship with Cross and Jaypaul, she said this.

Ebuka gave the housemates harsh cautions about how they talk about former shows, reunion programs, and occurrences outside the house at the end of the show.
