Shell bankrolls Ssebuguzi for this year’s World Championship Safari rally in Kenya

Fuel company , Shell under their product, Shell V-Power, a premium fuel that cleans and protects engines has announced a shs25 million cash sponsorship to three time Uganda national rally champion, Ronald Ssebuguzi.

Ssebuguzi is one of the four Ugandan drivers to take an interest in the current year’s

World Rally Championship (WRC) Safari Rally 2021, which will happen in Nairobi, Kenya.

The sponsorship bundle was reported by Vivo Energy Uganda Fuels Manager, Mark Mutungi.

“We like Ssebuguzi and his kindred drivers for the difficult work they have persistently placed in the game. Shell V-Power is pleased to be essential for the excursion, working with champions like Ronald Ssebuguzi. Through this sponsorship, we are powering his aspirations to address our country at this lofty motorsport occasion,” Mutungi said.

The June 24 – 27 occasion is back on the FIA World Rally Championship schedule following a 19-year nonattendance.

It was viewed as one of motorsport’s generally renowned and praised occasions of its time before it withdrew the arrangement in 2002.

Talking at the capacity the three time Ugandan public assembly champion hailed Shell for giving him some assistance that he said will drive him further in his victory to win the convention in Kenya.
