Service of Health reconsiders COVID-19 testing system preceding travel

The Ministy of wellbeing in Uganda has rolled out certain improvements in the COVID-19 testing time before movement in and outside the country.

As per Dr. Henry G. Mwebesa the Director General of Health Services, testing time before movement in and outside Uganda was amended from 120 hours to 72 hours.

The Ministry in it’s public statement on Tuesday 29th June 2021 educated every one of the explorers showing up and leaving Uganda to have a covid19 test done inside 72 hours from the day tests are gathered for testing powerful third July 2021.

The Ministry additionally noticed that the COVID-19 authentications should demonstrate travel as the proposed motivation behind the test. Uganda had enlisted 52,382 total recuperations, 989 passings and 79,434 aggregate cases as of 27th July 2021.
