The new Cabinet Secretaries in Kenya have been instructed by President H.E. William Ruto to preserve the rule of law and respect the Constitution as they carry out their duties.
He emphasized that they have to treat Kenyans fairly and respect their office.
He declared, “Our nation must be governed by the Constitution, not by the whims of men.”
He made his remarks on Thursday at State House in Nairobi, where he also saw 22 Cabinet Secretaries, the Attorney General, and the Secretary to the Cabinet being sworn in.

“You were sworn in to serve the Kenyan people. That is all that is required of us,” he continued.
The President gave the nation his word that the Cabinet Secretaries are competent to carry out their responsibilities and move the nation forward.
President Ruto stated that “these men and women have our unwavering support in pursuing our country’s transformation plan.”
