Rickman Confirms His Move to Uganda, With Plans to Release a Song Every 6 Weeks
Rickman, or Derrick Ddungu, has revealed that he will be relocating to Uganda after months of rumours.
Rickman, or Derrick Ddungu, has revealed that he will be relocating to Uganda after months of rumours.
Rickman was formerly stationed in Sweden, where he played professional football for Sävedalen IF and other Swedish clubs.
His music career began some years ago, but it wasn’t until 2019 that he had a smash song with Bango. The song topped music charts and was a favorite of many people who listened to music online.
He has never looked back as a brand, and his celebrity status was boosted significantly when he decided to marry Sheilah Gashumba in 2021.
The partnership has been criticized, with some stating that Rickman’s musical originality and productivity have been damaged by his celebrity.
He hasn’t released nearly enough music in the last few years, to be honest. He hasn’t released many songs since Bango, and none of them have been as successful as Bango.
Rickman and his fiancée Gashumba are both aware of the issue and have devised a strategy to address it.
First, Rickman has relocated and has returned to working more studio shifts. Rickman announced on Twitter that he has completed his relocation to Uganda.
You’ve been asking for music, and I’m happy to report that I’ve returned to Uganda to focus on bringing you song after hit!
There will be no more ghosting on you! Throughout my adventure, I will need your love and support! MANRICK
Sheilah Gashumba retweeted his tweet, revealing that he plans to release a new music project every six weeks.
“At long last, you can say I prevented Rickman Manrick from releasing music!” Rickman Manrick has returned to Uganda permanently! Every six weeks, new music is released! “Now who’s ready?” read Gashumba’s tweet.
Isn’t that appealing? Rickman’s followers may now relax and look forward to whatever he has been working on during his absence.
Rickman is also focused on his football career, and he is a member of KCCA FC, who won the Uganda League Championship 13 times.
