Pre-album listening sessions with Guinness powers influencer Azawi

Industry insiders, the press, and a few select fans will be able to attend listening sessions before the official release.

The awaited 2021 album “African Music Azawi” by singer Azawi is just hours away from being released, and friends and admirers are on standby as they wait for her masterpiece.

Industry insiders, the press, and a few select fans will be able to attend listening sessions before the official release. Azawi was recently nominated to Guinness’ Black Shines Brightest campaign as an influencer.

“Music is my thing, and motivating rising stars is how I shine brightest,” Azawi wrote on social media, revealing how fans can attend the listening session. “Post a video of yourself singing along and stand a chance to listen to my album before it drops globally,” Azawi wrote.

The first hearing session will take place at the Onomo Hotel in Nakasero on Thursday afternoon. It’s an invite-only event, as will tomorrow’s session at her label’s offices, Swangz Avenue.

Her 16-track album is sure to capture music listeners everywhere, with fans already deciding which tunes they like best so far, such as Slow Dancing and My Year.

With additional well-known musicians such as Apass, Kenzo, Fik Fameica, and Benon Mugumbya on the album, it’s safe to say that it’ll be a smash hit once it’s released.

On October 9, the “Quinamino” star’s album will be accessible for streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, Boom Play, Audio Mack, and other music digital streaming services.
