Police to take action against web-based media clients spreading counterfeit pictures, recordings of Kampala twin impacts

Police have guided their digital wrongdoing groups to dispatch a take action against web-based media clients associated with getting out counterfeit word about the new bomb impacts in Kampala.

Following the Tuesday morning impacts at the Central Police Station and along Parliamentary road, a few recordings and pictures suspected to be of the twofold assault.

Tending to columnists on Thursday, Police representative, Fred Enanga said the power’s digital unit has been entrusted to pay special mind to online media clients who are engaged with the spread of phony news pointed toward causing alarm among the general population.

“Our digital wrongdoing groups have been given guidelines to search for those sharing upsetting bomb pictures from different nations. A portion of these individuals were sharing photographs from West Africa and Kenya of episodes that happened numerous years ago,”Enanga said.
