Last Monday, a body thought to be that of Immaculate Mary Blessing Asio was discovered in a septci tank in the couple’s marital residence in Munyonyo, in a bag packed down with stones.

Mrs. Onebe, who had been missing for almost eight months, was found dead in a septic tank, according to DNA results given by police on Thursday.

“The DNA of the skeletons and the DNA of the family members were found to be identical. As a result, the late Mrs. Immaculate Onebbe’s remains were turned over to her immediate family members for proper burial,” CID spokesperson Charles Twine said in a statement released Thursday afternoon.

Twine also refuted rumors that a second body had been found in the septic tank, claiming that they were part of Mrs.remains. Onebe’s

The findings of a team of medical examiners and pathologists show that the bones found in the septic tank belong to one individual, not two, as the scene of crime investigators had suggested. Furthermore, the bones were sent to a forensic lab for further investigation, and they were scientifically identified as those of an adult female.”

After establishing that the body retrieved from the septic tank is that of Onebe’s missing wife, police are now gathering information on the circumstances surrounding her disappearance and how the body was thrown in the septic tank, according to authorities.

Francis Onebe was arrested for questioning after the body of her missing wife was discovered in the sewage tank of their marital house. In his comments, he claims he has no idea how the body of her missing wife ended up in the septic tank.

Francis Onebe filed a missing person case at Kabalagala Police Station after his wife went missing on January 6, but then visited other prison centers in search of his wife, whom he claimed had been kidnapped by unknown individuals driving a Toyota Hiace, also known as a drone.

He also showed CCTV footage of a vehicle stopping in front of his wife as she returned from the grocery store, in addition to placing ads in newspapers and other media in the search for his missing wife.

The arrest of the property’s former security guard, on the other hand, provided leads to police, who later cordoned off the couple’s marital home in Munyonyo and recovered the wife’s body.

Onebe stated to interrogators that the body discovered in the septic tank was not his wife in one of his remarks.

Police also claimed they were notified that Onebe was about to leave the nation, raising concerns about the move at a time when his wife’s disappearance is still being investigated.

Puzzle

However, investigators are now trying to figure out how Onebe’s wife vanished, reportedly at the hands of a drone, as her husband said.

Investigators will try to figure out how and where Mrs. Onebe was killed before her body was taken and dumped into the septic tank after establishing the body retrieved from the septic tank belonged to her.

Investigators will also try to figure out why Mrs. Onebe was murdered and if there were any other people engaged in the heinous crime.
