The First-Ever Ultimate University Quiz Must Win in 2023
The inaugural Ultimate University Quiz 2023 winner is Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST).
The Vision Group organized the inaugural Ultimate University Quiz. On Friday, New Vision Offices in Kampala hosted the award ceremony as well.

The youngsters and their coach will each receive Sh1sm in addition to a laptop, while the MUST champions left with equipment valued at Shs25m.
Four students—Ahirirwe Leticia, Edgar Reagan Ssenyonga, Atukwaase Vitah, and Silver Evans Makanga—represented MUST.
They received coaching from the following individuals: HE. Musa Kiyemba, the Guild President, who helped with team selection; Mr. Solomon Agum, the Principal Assistant Academic Registrar in charge of Admissions, Records, and Alumni Engagement; and Ms. Angella Nakato Muyingo, the MUST Public Relations Officer (PRO), who served as the team’s lead coach.
The university administration expressed gratitude to New Vision, Bank of Uganda, Centenary Bank, Georgina Optical, and the production team Netstudios for organizing the Ultimate University Quiz and for providing this platform.
“Our students have not only had the opportunity to demonstrate their talent, but The Ultimate University Quiz has elevated up-country universities like Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) to a national level,” the statement continued.
Uganda Christian University (UCU), the most formidable competitor, came in second.
“We are pleased with the students who competed for us in the 2023 Ultimate University Quiz. They were able to take the second spot among the 16 original universities, according to UCU on X.
It continued, saying that each participant had won Shs500,000 in cash and a brand-new laptop. The university will also acquire computers and equipment valued at Shs15,000,000.
Victoria University, Kampala came in third.
