Rodda, Kerevi Samu Kerevi and Izack Rodda have been reinstated

Rodda, Kerevi Samu Kerevi and Izack Rodda have been reinstated to the Wallabies for the Rugby Championship match against New Zealand in Perth on Sunday, marking their first appearances for Australia since the 2019 World Cup.

Kerevi, who is based in Japan, takes over at inside center for Matt Toomua, while Rodda is named to the bench for the encounter at Perth Stadium, where Australia will want to bounce back after back-to-back thrashings by the All Blacks at Eden Park.

Kerevi will team up with Len Ikitau, who has been elevated from the bench to replace Hunter Paisami in the middle.

Rennie has mainly stuck with the same lineup that was thrashed 57-22 in the second meeting at Eden Park last month.

Both hookers from that game have been changed, with Folau Fainga’a starting in place of Brandon Paenga-Amosa and Lachlan Lonergan on the bench replacing Jordan Uelese.

Toomua, an experienced utility back, has been left out of the matchday squad entirely, with Rennie opting for Jordan Petaia off the bench.

Pete Samu, a loose forward, was also called up to the reserves.
