President Museveni met with Algerian Special Envoy and Foreign Affairs Minister, H.E Ramtane Lamamra, and conducted talks with him.
His rural residence in Rwakitura, Kiruhura district, hosted the meeting on Friday.
According to Museveni, H.E Lamamra delivered a special message and heartfelt welcomes from Algerian President H.E Abdelmadjid Tebboune to Ugandans.
“We then talked about issues of mutual interest and collaboration, including trade, agriculture, and security.”
Museveni urged for joint ventures, particularly in agriculture.
“We have a lot of milk,” Museveni stated, “so Algeria should stop importing it from Europe and purchase it here.”
