President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Meets Ruto, Raila at Kisozi Farm

At his Kisozi farm, President of the Republic of Uganda, General (Rtd) Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, met productively with President of the Republic of Kenya, His Excellency, William Samoei Ruto, and former Kenyan Prime Minister, Raila Odinga.

The two leaders spoke about issues that both Kenya and Uganda found interesting.

“I was delighted to have President Ruto and Rt. Hon. Odinga visit my Kisozi farm this afternoon.” We spoke about topics that both our nations and the East African Community found interesting. On his X account, At Kisozi Farm, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni meets with Raila and Ruto.
stated, “I welcome them.”

Ruto claims that the problems influencing the movement of petroleum products between Kenya and Uganda have been talked about and are being fixed.

We also discussed the need for the two countries to immediately pursue the design and construction of the previously conceptualized Eldoret-Kampala-Kigali refined petroleum product pipeline. “We have agreed on a way forward of sourcing and scheduling imports for the region in a manner that will ensure we achieve the most competitive pricing and maximum logistical efficiency.”

The leaders of the summit also spoke about Raila Odinga’s announced candidacy for chairperson of the Africa Union Commission.

Ruto stated, “The announced candidacy of Kenya’s former prime minister @RailaOdinga for the chairmanship of the Africa Union Commission was also discussed.”
