President Museveni had a Covid-19 vaccine booster today, Tuesday, according to the State House.

Museveni was injected by the Health Ministry Permanent Secretary, Dr. Diana Atwine, in a photo tweeted by the Senior Presidential Press Secretary, Linda Nabusayi.

“My doctors, Dr. Diana Atwine and an army commander named Dr. Magoba, have just given me a booster shot. According to my statement during the New Year’s speech, the efforts we will rely on to open the economy include full vaccination for people aged 18 and up, which totals about 22 million people, as well as booster doses for the 3.3 million people over the age of 50, a constituency in which I am well-suited. I am currently 50+27 – 77 years old.

We recommended that this group receive a booster dosage. However, those under the age of 50 who have difficulties such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, or other illnesses should receive a booster dose.” Soon after his vaccination, Museveni remarked.

To defeat the illness and revive the economy, the president urged Ugandans to get completely vaccinated.

“I strongly urge everyone to take action. If you’re over 50, you should have a booster shot. If you’re over the age of 18, you should get immunized completely. Dr. Atwine returned with another clan of dosages, stating that clan mixing is beneficial. Get another clan, according to Atwine, for the booster to work properly.
