MultiChoice Uganda and Rubis Energy have launched a collaboration in which consumers will be rewarded in a new cooking competition dubbed “the lockdown chefs.”

Joan Semanda Kizza, MultiChoice Uganda’s Public Relations and Communications Manager, announced on Monday that the competition will reward individuals who learned and refined their cooking skills during the lockdown.

“Now every lockdown chef may be rewarded for improving their cooking skills. The rules are simple: “All you have to do is actively watch the House of Chefs program and follow MultiChoice and Rubis energy social media channels, which will announce the many cooking challenges for you to participate in,” Semanda explained.

She stated that the competition winners would receive culinary hampers as well as a full set of 12kg and 6kg K-gas gas cylinders.

“The winners of this competition will have the opportunity to win incredible gifts from MultiChoice and Rubis Energy. “Some of the prizes include a variety of MultiChoice cooking hampers, as well as entire sets of 12kg and 6kg K-gas gas cylinders,” said Rebecca Nassiwa, Rubis Energy Uganda’s Marketing, Communication, and Brand manager.

“Rubis Energy Uganda purchased all Kobil and Delta stations with fresh energy to fuel all of them,” says the company.

Ugandans are in desperate need. One of them, K-gas, is a safe and high-quality cooking buddy. Rubis provides home delivery services to all of its clients so that K-gas is available to everyone,” said Rebecca Nassiwa, Rubis Energy Uganda’s marketing, communication, and brand manager.

“Through this competition, we are confident that the winners will have a great time cooking delectable meals in the comfort of their own homes.”

The first cook-off challenge, according to MultiChoice, will begin on August 27th, directly following the House of Chefs broadcast.

“Through her social media channels, the show’s host Sheilah Gashumba will judge alongside the general public and announce the lucky winners on a weekly basis.

We feel that this event is geared for foodies, culinary bloggers, and true entertainment fans.”
