Rosemary Nakayingo, a businesswoman in Mubende town council, had a struggling business when the government created Emyooga in 2020, but she opted to use the new program for a bailout.
“I joined the Kaweeri Veterans Sacco, where I could both save and borrow.” I borrowed shs1 million at start, but as time went on, I borrowed more, and my hardware firm is now thriving. I was able to purchase

“The president has already directed that SACCOs that have performed well receive an extra Shs20 million,” Kasolo added.
He stated that everyone has a role to play in the Emyooga program’s success, and that leaders should work together to support it.
Bashir Lubega, Mubende Municipality MP, urged critics against speaking badly of the government program, which he stated is aimed at helping those who are unable to obtain funds from banks.
