Amos Lugoloobi, the minister of state for planning, has been taken into custody.
The Karamoja iron sheets affair led to the minister’s arrest on Friday.
He’s being held at Kira Division Police Station right now.
On Monday, he’s supposed to appear in court.
Reportedly, one of the recipients of the iron sheets intended for the Karamoja region was Lugoloobi.
On his property near Kayunga, he covered a livestock shed with the iron sheets.
