A portion of the illicit stages incorporate the Rwebikona-Ntake stage, Ahakatooma stage, and Post office stage, along the Independence park, University stage, and Shell Ankole among others.

James Mwesigye, the Mbarara Resident City Commissioner says that taxi and transport administrators had begun to stack travelers from the non-gazetted regions which puts them in danger of being assaulted by obscure individuals.

Mwesigye blames the authority for Mbarara taxi proprietors and administrators of neglecting to agree with security orders.

Emmanuel Bwambale, the Mbarara city police officer entrusted the administration of the taxi and transport parks to authorize safety efforts which incorporate handling travelers and their baggage at the entry.

He says presently, police has insufficient labor to convey work force in all pieces of the city.

Godfrey Mbaine, the secretary of Finance Mbarara Taxi Park Union says that the space at the taxi park is deficient to oblige all taxicabs. He says they have kept in touch with the City agent and the whole authority of Mbarara city to extend the taxi park yet all to no end.

The taxi park was developed to oblige 200 taxicabs yet presently, there are more than 800 cabs.
