This week, Man Utd departs on a 16-day preseason trip, and it’s probable that a number of the team’s academy graduates will be traveling to Bangkok, Thailand.
Young members of Manchester United who will be participating in the club’s preseason this week have been advised by Marcus Rashford to make the most of the opportunity and use it as a stepping stone to first-team football.
Before the club stream departs for Bangkok on Friday for a progression of four games in three urban communities, Erik ten Hag will decide who goes on a visit.
In the 16-day campaign, United will play Liverpool in Bangkok, Melbourne Victory and Crystal Palace in Melbourne, and Aston Villa in Perth. Rashford says it will be equally important to focus on the first-team squad and to prepare for those games.
The senior players were busy with the June international, which is returning this week, so a sizable group of Under-23 players helped make up the numbers in the preparation last week. However, some of them will be remembered for the visit squad.
Alvaro Fernandez, James Garner, Hannibal Mejbri, Facundo Pellistri, Alejandro Garnacho, and Amad all stand a high chance of getting engaged, and Rashford is aware of the implications as someone who has already seen life from their perspective.
“I was destroyed when I was 17, and I declined the invitation because I had a physical problem with my back. It’s a tremendous open door when you understand that you are being engaged with the main group and have the chance to go on the visit, he said, according to MUTV.
It’s a time to spend a lot of time with the main group, practice with us frequently, have fun with us, and add to your repertoire of minutes. Additionally, that might really spark something for you in your line of work, and for my purposes, it was the cerebral route I went when I first started practicing and having fun with the main group. It was very large.
It’s something you shouldn’t undervalue. It would be great if some of them could join us and play for a little while. Given that they have all started their preparations well and have all returned in terrific shape, it makes sense if some of them started the season with us as well. I can say that for sure.
“Everyone is giving their all right now, which is the most important thing, and it will probably take another week and a half before we are truly fit and eager to start. All of the guys have done their most memorable arrangements of runs during these times when it is intense.
“The primary group guys have set a real example, so hopefully they get a great opportunity to come on the tour and play some games.”
Rashford loves the chance for the junior and senior squad members to connect and truly get to know one another, which is provided by the visit.
It is a fantastic inclination and presumably the main thing you miss the most when you are away. So it’s a great inclination to be among the guys and the staff again,” he remarked.
Naturally, we have some new employees as well, so it is a good opportunity to get to know them much better and for them to do the same with us. When we are on the field, we must take it seriously and enjoy it, but when we are off the field, we can rest and find other ways to pass the time.
Everyone is looking forward to it since I’m sure there will be some card games and other activities while we are at the accommodation. It is undoubtedly something you miss when you travel independently and to better locations.
