In a news conference, Guardiola discussed Julia Roberts’ visit to Manchester in 2016 and his interpretation of it. He cited Roberts’ journey to Manchester during a time when Guardiola’s team had been outperforming United for the previous four or five years, rather than when United was prevailing under Sir Alex Ferguson in the 1980s and 1990s.
