The boots are totally constructed of materials and components that ‘conform and perform to vegan and elite performance requirements,’ according to the company.

They also have adidas’ Demonskin technology in in.

adidas aims for a’snug, sock-like fit’ with the laceless boots.

A pair will cost you roughly £235, while a laced version will cost you around £210.

“I am a footballer first and foremost, but I have a tremendous passion in fashion and design and I’ve always wanted to explore this further,” Pogba said of the launch.

“This collaboration has been especially significant for me since I’ve long admired Stella McCartney’s work, so when we got together for The Huddle last year and came up with this idea, it felt like the perfect moment to create something.”

“It was in the middle of lockdown, and I was missing football so much, so being able to focus on something that blends my love for the game with my passion for style was a fantastic sensation.”

“The boots we designed with adidas are bold and distinctive, and I can’t wait to wear them on the field.”

“Last year during lockdown, adidas invited Paul and I together for The Huddle, which is where this idea was first created,” McCartney said of her partnership with Pogba.

“Learning how passionate he was about fashion and how much we shared in common spurred the idea for co-creating this classic boot.”

“One remark that remained with me was how fashion was a major part of his personality both on and off the pitch, and it was crucial for that to show in the design.”
