Riyad Mahrez, a star for Manchester City, is reportedly focusing on his future with his agent as Real Madrid continues to show interest in the Algerian winger.

Last season, the 31-year-old was a cornerstone for Pep Guardiola’s City team, managing 24 goals and nine assists in 47 games across all competitions.

However, with the emergence of advancements Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez, his future at the Etihad Stadium is somewhat uncertain.

Mahrez and his representative are reportedly focusing on options for the forward’s likely next professional move. The forward’s contract with Manchester City has one year still to run, and he is reportedly free to consider offers from anticipated supporters.

The former winger for Leicester City is free to leave England and might move to Real Madrid soon.

Mahrez’s specialized skills are reportedly appreciated by Los Blancos manager Carlo Ancelotti, who also believes he can strengthen the attack of the La Liga champions.

Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, may decide to sign the Algerian on a free transfer in the interim. If Mahrez declines to extend his current contract, Madrid may want to sign him the following summer. However, Mahrez’s agreement will have already expired by that point.

Mahrez has won every domestic trophy available to be won in the nation, therefore it seems unlikely that he would have any issues leaving England. In any event, the Champions League is the biggest award that is lacking from his collection. After defeating City in the semifinals, the team from Santiago Bernabeu took home the Champions League trophy in May.

City of Manchester At Real Madrid, Riyad Mahrez may succeed.

Riyad Mahrez has long been regarded as one of the best wingers in the Premier League, having attracted interest from both Manchester City and Leicester City. The Algerian played a significant role in Leicester’s improbable 2016 Premier League title triumph before moving to City for $61.2 million in the summer of 2018.

Mahrez has gained recognition for his superb specialized capacity available at the Etihad Stadium, and he currently has an abundance of involvement added to his repertoire.

Given that the Italian manager of Real Madrid has talented attacking options like Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo, this may be really helpful.

The two young Brazilians would only strengthen their attacking skills by learning from Mahrez, and Ancelotti would gain crucial squad depth from him.

The Algerian has tried everything to succeed on English soil, and if he can manage that, Madrid is where he will have the best chance of continuing his illustrious career and winning the Champions League.
