RICKELTON BOOST LIONS AT THE WANDERERS

Ryan Rickelton struck an unbeaten 81 as the Imperial Lions assumed responsibility on the second morning of their CSA 4-Day Series match against the Gbets Rocks at the Wanderers in Johannesburg on Friday.

At the break, the Lions were 191 for two, a lead of 25 with eight wickets close by after they excused the Rocks for 170 on Thursday.

Rickelton and Kagiso Rapulana (35*) have so far highlighted in a third-wicket organization of 83. The main wicket to fall was that of Reeza Hendricks for 47.

Fighters IN CONTROL IN POTCH

The Gbets Warriors finished their first innings, coming to 334 on the second morning of their CSA 4-Day Series match against the North West Dragons at the JB Marks Oval in Potchefstroom on Friday.

In answer, the Dragons had reached 64 for two at lunch, a deficiency of 270 – with Wesley Marshall (28) and Heino Kuhn (12) the two unbeaten players.

Fighters’ paceman Mthiwekhaya Nabe represented both the Dragons wickets to fall, those of Senego Senokwane (20) and Jason Oakes (0).

Prior, continuing on 313 for six, the Warriors’ tail didn’t sway much with Diego Rosier (52) and Alindile Mhletywa (46) not enduring long.

The best bowler for the Dragons was Chad Classen with 3/50 while Caleb Seleka and Eldred Hawken got a few scalps each.
