As per the Moroto Regional Police Spokesperson Michael Longole, the police and the joint security powers in Karamoja have recuperated 9,118 heads of dairy cattle out of the 10,200 that were accounted for to have been attacked or taken.

Longole said the recuperations had worked on because of extra security staff and combined with the utilization of choppers conveyed to the area to help in following taken cows.

He added that the joint security powers were additionally following for the missing creatures and whenever they are found, the creatures will be given over to the proprietors.
