Jose Mourinho eats his dinner off floor outside Cagliari’s stadium after match ban
JOSE MOURINHO poked fun at his dressing room ban by eating his dinner off the floor outside Cagliari's stadium.
JOSE MOURINHO mocked his dressing-room ban by eating his dinner on the ground outside the Cagliari stadium.
Following his dismissal against Napoli, the Roma manager was prevented from accessing the Sardegna Arena’s visiting dressing room.
Tempers rose during Roma’s 0-0 tie with Chelsea last Sunday, and Mourinho was awarded a red card for his misdeeds.
The ex-Manchester United manager was subsequently hauled off the pitch for sarcastically applauding officials after his dismissal, which resulted in his suspension against Cagliari.
Mourinho spent his time leisurely indulging in food from a silver container with a can of Coke to wash it down while Roma romped to a 2-1 victory against the Serie A underdogs.
Mourinho, who was clothed in a black body warmer and white Adidas trainers, seemed to enjoy the food and the result, and he remarked about both in an Instagram post that documented his uncomfortable eating experience.
Mourinho was also ecstatic about 18-year-old phenom Ohene Afena Gyan Felix’s debut for his squad, even if he didn’t get to watch it in person.
The 58-year-old made the following remark: “The game is over… 3 stars… Nice meal (no dressing room) and another child, Ohene Afena Gyan Felix.”
Mourinho’s laid-back attitude to the suspension was a hit with Roma fans, who looked amused by his laid-back demeanor.
When he was originally disciplined against Napoli, the Portuguese strategist displayed his lighter side on social media.
Mourinho was caught trying to scale a fence to wave instructions to his players from behind a club billboard after receiving his marching orders in the heated match.
Mourinho added a witty message to the video, which he posted to his personal Instagram account.
“When you don’t have a ticket and badly want to see a wonderful football game,” it stated.
