Jeje Odong tells off Ugandans

Minister of foreign affairs designate, Maj. Gen. Jeje Odong has fired back at Ugandans on social media who have spent the entire 24 hours trolling him for wearing a hi-tech face mask valued at over UGX 3.7 million.

Odong on Tuesday showed up in the luxurious face mask as he went for vetting as the new Minister for foreign affairs having replaced the scandalous Sam Kahamba Kuteesa who has been in the docket for the past couple of decades.

Ugandans ridiculed the Minister for spending lavishly on himself yet health centres in his own Teso region are ill equipped and lack medical personnel to attend to people. Odong however says that is not his business.

“I spend on my life the way I want and how I want. This is my personal money that I used to buy this face mask,” Odong says. “What is $3000 to my life? My life is not worth any amount of money. I will spend anything to keep myself safe from anything,” he adds.
