Tehran, Iran | BAZZUP | Joe Biden’s “meddlesome words” were denounced by the Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on Friday, and he was urged to halt his hypocritical actions and support for terrorism.
Amir-Abdollahian said in a tweet that the White House is simultaneously “reaching out for an accord” on the restoration of a 2015 nuclear deal despite increased support for “violence and terror” during recent riots in Iran.
He urged Biden to stop supporting “terror” and being hypocritical.
The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action negotiations, the alternative to the nuclear agreement, started in Vienna in April 2021. Iran agreed to limit its nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of sanctions when it signed the nuclear agreement with major powers in July 2015. Tehran, on the other hand, was forced to back out of certain of its obligations under the treaty after the United States left the agreement and re-imposed unilateral sanctions on it.
After the most recent round of negotiations, which was place in early August of this year, little progress was made.
Ebrahim Raisi, the president of Iran, stated the same thing on Friday: “The hegemonic system governing the United States is the emblem and embodiment of global hubris, which is willing to harm the interests of many other nations across the world to ensure its own.”
He stated that Iran will never become a “milking cow” for Washington in his statements to street demonstrators on Friday commemorating the national Student Day and the National Day of Fight against Global Arrogance, according to the official news agency IRNA.
