On Wednesday, the Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar stated that he had spoken to Apple on claims that outlets in the national capital were running out of stock of the company’s latest phone offering, the iPhone14 Pro.
The minister also stated that there has been a significant increase in demand for the iPhone 14 Pro, and that Apple is working to alleviate the supply issues.

His post was a response to a complaint that stores in the national capital region had been out of supply of Apple iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max variants for weeks and that private sellers were selling them on the black market. His tweet was sent in response to the complaint.
Chandrasekhar stated that private sales are most likely “alternative” supply channels.
The iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max were both available for purchase beginning on September 16.
