I will not endure debasement in this new bureau, says Museveni
Museveni said the new cabinet should open a new era that doesn’t tolerate corruption which has eaten up the country.
President Museveni has cautioned he won’t endure any bad propensities by any of the individuals from the new bureau.
“We have begun with carriers and we are going to crush the bad individuals. Try not to look for favors and don’t acknowledge any. Try not to endure defilement under you,” Museveni said.
The president was on Monday evening talking after the swearing-in of the new pastors at a capacity held at the Kololo freedom grounds.
Museveni said the new bureau should open another period that doesn’t endure defilement which has gobbled up the country.
“This should be an administration of no defilement. There is no debasement I don’t have a clue and I appeal to you the clergymen not to request favors from anyone or acknowledge anything.”
Museveni flaunted that having been a pioneer for more than 60 years at various levels, he has huge experience yet noted he has never been associated with any type of defilement.
He asked the new individuals from bureau to copy him and stop from defilement.
“These restrictions (individuals) can’t crush me. They are lying. I have taken nothing and I live by my own battle. I don’t owe anything to anyone. No one says they assisted me with taking any cash.”
“This bureau ought to definitively drive Uganda into center pay status. We have the issue of crown yet we will resolve.”
