I am partly to blame – Ziza Bafana reflects on dip in career

But who is to blame for his fall? The self-styled katonda wa Ragga believes he is partly to blame because of the constant change of management.

Ugandan Ragga/Dancehall singer Ziza Bafana believes that he has himself to blame partly for the dip in form of his music career.

About five years ago, Richard Kasendwa a.k.a Ziza Bafana was a music powerhouse, a king of a sort in the dancehall genre with his top hits songs dominating the music charts.

Today, the singer who kicked off a promising career in 2011, is only just yet another singer trying to find his footing and reclaim his spot at the top after a few years of silence.

But who is to blame for his fall? The self-styled katonda wa Ragga believes he is partly to blame because of the constant change of management.

During a radio interview, Bafana noted that he demands too much and hence the reason why managers don’t stick around him long enough.

He also loves being at the front of whatever is to do with his career and that could have irritated his former managers.

Bafana also hinted on his love for expensive things including studios, music videos, etc being the reason why he often fell out with his management.

I am the one to blame for all that has happened to me before. I have had different managers leave because of the many demands I have. This has come to bite me hard.

The singer is positive that his new management and more of work will work just fine for him to stay relevant in the industry. Fingers crossed!
