Gulu University has announced new graduation dates for the 16th class.
Dr. Bagaya said that the assembly would be broadcast live on NBS Television and streamed live on Gulu University social media platforms.
Gulu University has announced that on September 4, 2021, it will have its 16th graduation ceremony.
All students, with the exception of those who will be given PhDs, will attend remotely, according to a circular published by the University’s Academic Registrar, Dr Jerry Bagaya, on Tuesday.
Dr. Bagaya said that the assembly would be broadcast live on NBS Television and streamed live on Gulu University social media platforms.
“The names of all the graduates will be read, and the Chancellor will confer degrees, diplomas, and certificates,” she continued.
The Gulu-based institution had planned to hold its scientific graduation on June 19, 2021, but had to postpone the event because to an increase in Covid-19 infections.
“With Covid-19, safety limits made this necessary. Bagaya stated in June, “We apologize any inconvenience caused by this situation, which is beyond our control.”
As soon as the situation returned to normal, the university vowed to publish new graduation dates.
