After Nigerian artist Davido followed him back on Instagram on Sunday, Ugandan singer Grenade, real name Deus Ndugga, slept with a broad smile on his face.
It’s the simple things that may mean the world to some individuals, and for Ugandan artist Grenade Deus, a follow back from Davido on Instagram brightened his weekend.
It all began when Grenade posted a photo of Davido on Instagram, prompting questions from fellow singers such as Fille about whether he had begun supporting Nigerians.
Grenade grabbed a screenshot and uploaded it on his page after seeing the message that one of Africa’s finest performers had followed him back.
He also tweeted a selfie of himself and Davido from when the former was in Uganda for a performance. He added the following caption:
They make fun of me because I’m different, and I make fun of them because they’re all alike. Dreams come true, thanks for the follow, daddy Davido. May God keep you winning, and may he adore you forever.
He then plastered photographs of Davido on his Instagram stories, praising him as the “King of All Time.” He also posted pictures of other DMW artists.
