Gov’t to investigate wealth of NUP MPs

Government has been tested by the abundance of resistance lawmakers in the National Unity Platform party who during the multi day lockdown stretched out foundation to the abandoned Ugandans all at once even before the cash for vehicles of MPs had been delivered. Talking before the parliamentary Committee executives and their appointees on Wednesday at the workplace of the Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja emphasized that as government they are predominantly ‘worried about’ the wellspring of abundance for resistance officials of NUP.

“A significant number of you who are in Parliament, you know what the Opposition individuals from Parliament do in their oversight panels. A large portion of them are extremely rich and we [government] know about that. How would they hoard this riches? We are presently coming for them moreover. Allow us all to say zero resilience to defilement,” Nabbanja said. “Also, in the event that we do this, the public will recapture trust in us [and] we will be responsible for this country. We will [do this] in light of the fact that we have all admittance to all the data we need to battle this sort of debasement,” she guaranteed. A source from NRM says Gen. Museveni entrusted Nabbanja to follow up and distinguish the personal business elements of NUP government officials so they would all be able to be frustated with assistance of the Uganda Revenue Authority.

The alert from Nabbanja is apparently an immediate assault on NUP MPs who have now even started to stretch out cause undertakings to their citizens. NUP MPs like Muhammad Ssegirinya of Kawempe North, Geoffrey Lutaaya of Kakuuto district among others have effectively acquired ambulances for their citizens something NRM as a gathering has not yet accomplished.
