Gov’t promises to smash those spreading ‘Museveni passing’ news

Government currently says they are to make a move on whoever is behind the information.

The Minister for data, Dr. Chris Baryomunsi has come out to caution Ugandans against pronouncing the head of state, Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa dead. Talking at the Uganda Media Center on Tuesday, Dr. Baryomunsi said that administration is to make a move on all thoae who are behind the information on Museveni’s ‘demise’. He proclaimed that president Museveni is healthy and that on Monday he showed up before a bureau meeting. “I wonder where they found out about this phony news,” Baryomunsi said. “The president has even displayed in Matugga on Tuesday for the MoH project,” he affirms.

Baryomunsi deterred Ugandans from following on the web stages that feed them with bogus substance. “Ugandans should quit abusing online media,” he said. “I’ve seen them posting that the president is dead which isn’t accurate. You have seen him on TV administering projects,” he added. Charges of Museveni’s passing fanned out quickly last week following a tweet from adjoining Kenya that demonstrated that he had been spotted at a top of the line medical clinic in Nairobi. More subtleties surfaced that the president had been furtively transported to Germany for treatment and that he is under the watch of his European based sister, Dr. Violet Kajubiri. Government has since dismissed the reports as bogus. In any event, when president Museveni is seen on live TV communicates directing ventures, Ugandans are being made to accept that it is old pre-recorded video cuts arising to give the general population and impression that he is healthy. Government currently says they are to make a move on whoever is behind the information.
